A recording service is provided for live and studio use, with a Macintosh computer and sixteen track backup recording set-up for live work. A small PA system (300W RMS per channel) is also available, working with a separate mix to “front of house”, to that of the recording. Recordings made live are then mixed, with a final transfer to CD, or the raw audio files may be supplied for your own mixing.

Your usual live set-up may be compatible with our equipment, providing direct outputs are available on each input channel of your mixing desk; a Soundcraft LX 7 console is provided as part of our system, should you not have a suitable console. All cabling is provided for the microphones and for transfer to the computer/recorder. Four-way stereo monitoring (expandable to eight-way mono monitoring) is also provided, for a comfortable and effective recording session and easy gigging (though monitor speakers are not provided).

A home service is also offered, where no ‘studio’ is available, enabling a recording session to take place in your home or rehearsal location. Audio files may then be transferred to your preferred mixing platform, or a CD can be produced on site.

An AKG drum mic set is available, together with ambient and condenser microphones. Microphones usually used by your band/group can be integrated into the system for minimal disruption to your usual performance set-up.

More discreet recording set-ups are also offered for church services, wedding ceremonies, and the like. Call for more details.
Also available are comprehensive mixing and editing facilities, using Logic Pro with a pair of JBL monitors. Material recorded elsewhere can be cleaned and edited if required.
